Dolci Lacrime

Inspired by the shapes and structures of the human body these abstract objects are both reminiscent of their original shapes and simultaneously newly developed objects. Each object begs to be deciphered. They are free from their original connotations and functions: though the teapot does not function as a ‘ pot,‘ it is still functional. The simultaneity of the familiarity and the alienation causes the functionality of the objects to be subverted.
